Founded in 2007, MENTES FRITAS has built a strong Caribbean portrait in all of their projects. The first feature film AZUL MAGIA was very well received from the Dominican critics for its artistic achievements and has more than 8.8 million streaming views. MF has co-produced projects such as RAFAELA directed by Tito Rodríguez, which won PRIMERA MIRADA at the Panama International Film Festival, also Official Selection of the Indian International Film Festival, Ícaro Festival, International Festival of New Latin American Cinema, won Best Feature Film at the Puerto Rico Film Festival, Best Director at the Dominican Film Fest New York and Best Drama at the La Silla DR Awards.

Their third feature THE DAY OF THE STORM is a thriller directed by Alexander Viola that is currently on the festival circuit. The latest project LA BACHATA DE BIONICO (Bionico's Bachata) had its premiere at the prestigious South by Southwest [SXSW] festival where it won the Global Audience Award and is Open Doors Screenings Official Selection at Locarno Film Festival. Currently MENTES FRITAS is developing her next film project.
